Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th December 2021: Following the success of our autumn makers market with Makers At The Mill, Torr Vale Mill is excited and ready to host a two day Makers At The Mill Market in collaboration with Andrea Joseph.   Once again, we have some amazing hand picked suppliers coming all producing high quality products, some from our Autumn markets and some new suppliers.

Parking: If you do drive, please park responsibly and avoid parking on residential streets.   Please note we have limited parking on site with the traders taking priority parking.  The good news is that New Mills carparking on Market Street which is a very short walking distance from the venue.  Swizzels factory carpark on Albion Street and Focal Design car park on Woodside Street have also very kindly also agreed to open their parking areas for our guests to use. You can see all the parking available on our map here.

Public transport: Alternatively why not come to New Mills via public transport so you can enjoy a mulled wine or two at our bar?  We have two stations, New Mills Central (closest to the mill, just on the other side of the river) and New Mills Newtown (only a 5 minute walk opposite Swizzels factory on Albion Road).  There is also a bus which drops off in the centre of the town.

Covid-19 safety: Although it is not yet the law in hospitality venues to wear a face covering, we would encourage all stall holders and guests to wear them whilst walking around the market please.  The markets are predominantly inside and we will have windows and doors open for good ventilation and air circulation (plus the underfloor heating to take away the chill - this is powered from heat pumps and the river flow, not electricity or gas so all eco friendly!) but please remember your face coverings to protect everyone on site.  Thank you!
